Southwick 250th Anniversary Parade

The Southwick 250 Committee is holding the rescheduled town birthday parade on October 16, 2021. Interested parties may sign up on the Southwick town website at: https://www.southwickma.org/southwick-250th-anniversary-committee/pages/250thanniversary-parade All participants must fill out both the Parade Entry Form and the Participation Agreement. “We are excited to be able to finally have the parade safely to top off our town’s 250th birthday celebration” said Jim Putnam. “Although it’s actually the 251st, since we had to wait a year, townspeople have been asking when it was going to happen, and some have already signed up. All are welcome to participate, enjoy the music, the animals and so much more. As it will be held outside, people will be able to social distance if they wish.” The Parade will include farm animals, the 250 Trolley, bands, local town civic groups, businesses, and groups from neighboring towns. Participants will leave from the Staging Area on Hudson Drive at 1pm, and proceed west to Rt. 10, to the town hall.
